B&E in the Region of Peel of 2023

Certain properties are more likely to be broken into, according to Peel Police, including corner lots, residences backing onto parks and other open areas, and houses that don't seem to be well-maintained or "lived in."
Peel Police state that most residential break-ins are crimes of opportunity. "Typically, burglars pick out specific properties based on features that will make it more difficult for them to break in without being discovered."
