Incident Response: 

Providing exemplary police services as well as investigative services. Making sure that our response time to these calls are as fast as possible. Especially with this crime, if a B&E occurs when there is a dwelling present in the house, the situation becomes more dangerous into a home invasion/ robbery. Also when investigating these crimes, make sure that we follow up with these situations to determine if it is a group of individuals carrying out this, as well as with our follow ups. Take this seriously as a service because these individuals had someone break into their home and they are looking to us to help them so that they can begin to feel safe again. 

 

Risk Intervention: A combined approach of proactive deterrence whilst enhancing the security of properties is the best way to tackle the epidemic of break and enters. Try to implement strategies collectively as a community through our app creation. 

 

Prevention: Works hand in hand with Risk Intervention. For prevention to occur, we must systematically address what's causing break and enter numbers to increase, and what can we do to curve or mitigate this situation. 

 

Social Development: This approach is used to formulate community cohesion, empowerment and as well as educate and spread awareness to all those who may/can be affected by break and enters. This coupled with Partnerships fostered by the police and the people bode to tackle this ongoing epidemic.
